Az óbudai Laktanya utcai zsidó temetőből került az Óbudai Zsidó Múzeumba 1934-ben.

From the Jewish cemetery on Laktanya Street in Óbuda. It was transferred to the Jewish Museum of Óbuda in 1934.

A három ismeretlen helyről előkerült töredék darabról csak a múzeumi munka során derült ki, hogy összetartoznak.

That the three fragments discovered at an unknown location belong together was only learned during preservation work in the Museum.

Meghalt 604-ben a kis időszámítás szerint, Elul hónapban.

He died in 604 in the month of Elul, according to the minor era.

A sírkő töredéken látható áldó kohanita kezek kohanita származású férfi nyughelyét jelölte.

The blessing gesture of a Kohanim hands depicted on the gravestone fragment marks the resting place of a Kohen man.

Itt nyugszik Berl Hazan “nem más ez, mint Isten háza” meghalt 612-ben, a kis időszámítás szerint.

Here lies Berl Chazan “Here indeed is the house of God”, died in 612, according to the minor era

Valószínűleg az Óbudai zsidó temetőből került a múzeumba a sírkőtöredék, melyen egy koronát tartó oroszlánpárt láthatunk.

A pair of lions holding a crown can be seen on the tombstone fragment, which was probably brought to the museum from the Jewish cemetery in Óbuda.
