Pest
Rosenfeld Lipót (1775-1826) Temesváron született, ahonnan előbb Óbudára, majd Pestre költözött. József főherceg udvari szállítója, a pesti zsidó közösség egyik elöljárója volt. Sírkövét 1827-ben a Váci úti zsidó temetőben állították fel. 1910-ben, a temető felszámolásakor a sírokat átszállították a működő pesti temetőkbe; nem tudjuk, hogy Rosenfeld sírköve miért került ide, a Múzeum árkádsorába.
Lipót Rosenfeld (1775-1826) was born in Timisoara, from where he moved first to Óbuda and then to Pest. He was a royal supplier to Archduke Joseph, and one of the leaders of the Jewish community in Pest. His tombstone was erected in 1827 in the Jewish cemetery on Váci út. In 1910, when the cemetery was liquidated, the graves were transferred to the functioning cemeteries in Pest; it is not known why Rosenfeld's tombstone was placed here, in the colonnade of the Museum.
