A törökkori Budán Európa országaiból bevándorolt askenáz, és az Oszmán Birodalomból érkezett szefárd zsidók éltek egymás mellett. Itt látható emlékeik: a legkorábbi (1350) és a legkésőbbi (1678) sírkő több mint három évszázad emlékét idézi.
In Turkish Buda, Ashkenazi Jews immigrated from European countries and Sephardic Jews from the Ottoman Empire lived side by side. The earliest (1350) and the latest (1678) tombstones here bear witness to more than three centuries.

… meghalt Tamuz 20. napján. Meghalt 16-án, az 438. évben a kis időszámítás szerint

Az áldott emlékű ....nek leánya , Újesztendőkor ment.... az Éden kertjének életébe. Legyen lelke bekötve Sára, Rebeka, Ráhel és Lea lelkének kötelékébe. Ámen

A középkori zsidó temetőből került elő 1897-ben, ahonnan a vízivárosi zsidó temetőbe helyezték át. 1932-ben került be a múzeumba.
Discovered in 1897 at the Medieval Jewish cemetery and was transferred to the Víziváros Jewish cemetery. From there it was moved to the museum in 1932.
