Szegfi Alfréd

Szegfi Alfréd (?-1933) was a bass singer in the choir of the Royal Hungarian Opera House from 1882 onward; he also served as a music teacher at the elementary and secondary boys’ schools of the Pest Jewish Community and as choir director of the Dohány Street Synagogue. He wrote several songbooks for young people.
