Ez volt a világon az első olyan judaikákat is kiállító tárlat, amely nem csupán privát kollekciókat mutatott be, hanem egy közösség önreprezentációja is volt. A kiállítás judaikarészlegének egyik legnagyobb tárgyegyüttese az óbudai zsidó közösségtől érkezett, amely akkoriban már némiképp háttérbe szorult a pesti hitközség mellett. Az óbudai közösségé volt ez a hatalmas aranyozott ezüstserleg, amely ismerős lehetett a kiállítás látogatóinak, hiszen hasonló darabok szerepeltek a főúri gyűjteményekben is. A 17. században készült serleget felirata szerint 1792-ben vásárolták meg az Óbudai Chevra Kadisa elöljárói. A kancsó füle egy kígyót formáz, ami akár Aszklépiosz, a gyógyítás istenének attribútumára is utalhat, de a zsidó ikonográfiában a bűn és a pogány kultuszok szimbóluma, így különösen meglepő a jelenléte egy zsidó szertartási célra használt tárgyon. A régi hitközségek tárgyai között több hasonló meglepetéssel is találkozhatunk, ami alapján azt feltételezzük, hogy a szigorú vallási előírások ellenére a tárgyak megjelenítését a közösség nem szabályozta minden részletre kiterjedően. This levite pitcher was made by the wellknown metal artist, József Prandner, probably not for an order by the community, since there is no inscription or sign that would indicate so. The handle of the pitcher has the form of a snake, which can either be a symbol for Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine, or in Jewish iconography it is the symbol of sin and pagan cults – either way, its presence is surprising on a Jewish ritual object. A mező közepén két hátrafordított fejű oroszlán tartja a Frigytáblákat (melyeken a parancsolatok kezdőszavai vannak héberül) és a felettük levő, applikált koronát. A táblák alatt felirat, alatta az ünnepjelző táblácskák mélyedése. Alul középen trébelt virág. Hátul eredetileg kettős lánc.
