A tizennyolcadik századi, itáliai barokk amulettből számos példány ismert. A tárgy belsejében, a tetején lévő szalagcsokor és az alul látható szőlőfürt között kis fémrúdra tekercselték azt a mágikus szövegekkel teleírt pergamendarabkát, amelynek az amulett védelmező hatását tulajdonították. Az ezüst tokon a gazdag akantuszleveles díszítés között a zsidó ikonográfia számos szimbóluma megtalálható, elsősorban olyanok, melyek a szentéllyel és isten védelmező erejével kapcsolatosak. A szalagcsokor alatt a baldachin egyik oldalán a főpap két jellegzetes attribútumát, a főpapi süveget és a füstölőt, másik oldalán pedig a törvényadás és a megváltás szimbólumait, a tízparancsolat két kőtábláját és a szentélybéli menórát láthatjuk. Mindkét oldalon felhők között a Shaddai azaz Örökkévaló olvasható, mely a kimondhatatlan és leírhatatlan nevű isten egyik lehetséges megnevezése a zsidó hagyományban. A tárgyat a neves zsidó műgyűjtő, Dirsztay Béla ajándékozta a múzeumnak 1915-ben.
