A zsidó gasztronómiai hétnek a Margitszigeti Danubius Grand Hotel adott otthont. A Mazsihisz folyóiratot alapított „Remény” címmel, amelynek az első száma a fesztivál alkalmából jelent meg. A lap főszerkesztője Benedek István Gábor. A könyvfesztiválon Schiffer János főpolgármester-helyettes felavatta az ismeretlen szponzor emlékművét, ahol zsidó iskolák és könyvtárak számára lehetett adakozni. Az „Ájin” képzőművész csoport tagjai a helyszínen alkottak, és árulták műveiket, fellépett a Nosztalgia Klezmer Band, Fellegi Balázs és Fűzfa Júlia énekművészek. Előadást tartott Haraszti György történész, Voigt Vilmos néprajz professzor, Rapcsányi László, a Magyar Rádió főmunkatársa, Röhrig Géza költő. A rendezvény együtt kívánja bemutatni a zsidó és cigány kultúrát.
