Néhány esetben a csillagok pusztán formális csoportokat képeznek.

<text>A ketuba díszítését természetesen befolyásolta a helyi zsidóságot körülvevő kultúra. Ez a ketuba a gazdag művészi örökségre nyitott itáliai zsidóságot tükrözi. A szöveges mező feletti félkörben áldások és bibliai verseket láthatunk, ahol a sorok koncentrikus félkörben követik a félköríves záródás vonalát. A házasságlevél tetején négy szárnyas puttószerű figura, feltehetően angyalok, koronát hoznak, ketten harsonát fújnak közben, a másik kettő pedig koszorút is tart a kezében.

<text>The decoration of the marriage contract was naturally influenced by the culture around the local Jewry. This is a reflection of Italian Judaism open to the rich artistic heritage. In the semicircle above the text, we see blessings and biblical poems where the lines follow the semicircular closing. At the top of the ketubah there are four winged putto-like figures, presumably angels, bringing a crown, while holding wreaths in their other hands, and the lower ones are blowing trumpets. Scenes from the upper part are separated by the richly decorated architectural elements. In the upper field, we see a man and a woman wearing elegant dresses. Around them are market scenes, as if they were preparing for a wedding. If the images show the soon to be married couple, then we can presume that it serves as the parable for the ‘good husband’ and the ‘good wife’. In the lower fields, the motions of actions are set forth: two horsemen are received, a servant pours wine from the barrel into a jug. Under the bouquet on both sides, the elegant man and woman appears once again in the same dress as they were pictured above: they are the bride and the groom.</text>
