A végén a maradékot betették a zárt hevraperselybe. A zárt perselyek és a nyitott gyűjtőtálak is különféle, a közösség anyagi lehetőségeit is jelző fémekből készültek. Megformáltságuk jellemzően követi az adott korszak tárgykultúráját, de az adomány célját, a gyűjtő szervezet nevét általában héber feliratokkal jelezték.
