<text>A zsidó tradíció írott betűkhöz fűződő hagyományai miatt a nyomtatás elterjedését követően is megmaradt a kézzel írt imakönyvek kiemelkedő jelentősége. A kapuzat felett a Messiás előhírnöke lóháton, mögötte Jeruzsálem kontúrjaival.

Ennek legjellegzetesebb szövege a menóra alakban leírt 67. zsoltár. A 67. zsoltár hét sora összesen 49 szóból áll, 7-6-6-11-6-6-7 eloszlásban. Egymás alá szedve ezek elforgatott menóra-alakot adnak. Ennek a tipográfiai elrendezésnek, a menóra alakban leírt zsoltárszövegnek protektív erőt tulajdonítottak, s a 16. századtól számos helyen megjelent a zsidó vizuális kultúrában: zsinagógák falára festve, szakrális textileken, de akár a magánlakásokban is megtalálható festett mizrah-táblákon is.

Egyszínű tollrajz illusztrációk / Illustrations are monochrome drawings:
Címlap: Felül lovas, középen bal oldalon Dávid hárfával, jobb oldalon Salamon a szentély építésére utaló mérőónnal.
Title page:
2a: Siviti-lap, felül két oroszlán, középen héber betűkből formázott menóra. / Shiviti leaf, lion on the top, Hebrew letters form a menorah in the middle
49a: Kántor, füléhez illesztett kézzel, a pulpitusnál / Cantor with one hand put on his ear at the pulpit
70a: Férfi lulávval, háttérben sátor / A man with lulav, Succoth in the background
73a: Kántor kóristával, kezüket fülükhez illesztik / Cantor with a member of the choir (both have one hand on the ear)
76b: A hold megszentelése / Sanctification of the New Moon (Kiddush Levanah)
Iniciálék/ Initials: 3a, 4a, 9a, 48a, 50b, 54b, 5b, 72a, 82b, 92b, 100a</text>
