                <text>A magyarországi sztálinista diktatúra 1953-ban koncepciós pert készített elő a budapesti zsidók megmentésében komoly szerepet vállaló Raoul Wallenberg svéd diplomata halálával kapcsolatban. A pernek azt kellett volna bizonyítania, hogy Wallenberget nem a szovjet KGB, hanem a pesti zsidó tanács tagjai gyilkolták meg. 1953-ban a későbbi vádlottak letartóztatása mellett a hitközség iratanyagának egy részét is lefoglalta az Államvédelmi Hatóság. Az iratok végül 1994-ben a Belügyminisztériumból a Magyar Országos Levéltárba kerültek, köztük ez az album is. Az iratokat és az albumot a Magyar Országos Levéltár 1998-ban visszaadta gyűjteményünknek.</text>
