                <text>A vésett jelenettel készített ón szédertál a zsidó–keresztény ikonográfiai kapcsolatok érdekes emléke.  A tál öblében az első rézmetszetekkel díszített nyomtatott hagada, az 1695-ben megjelent amszterdami hagada széderjelenete látható.  Az amszterdami hagada képei széles körben elterjedtek, amit elősegített, hogy más hagadakiadások is átvették a képeket, és akár kisebb-nagyobb módosításokkal is, de folyamatosan használták, újranyomták őket.  Gyakoriak voltak az olyan kiadások is, amelyekben a fametszetes velencei haggada és a rézmetszetes amszterdami haggada képeiből egyaránt válogattak, nem törődve az eltérő technikai háttérrel.  &#13;
Az amszterdami haggadát Salamon ben Joseph nyomtatta, illusztrátora Abraham ben Jacob volt, aki kereszténynek született, majd felnőttként tért át a zsidó hitre.  Abraham ben Jacob ismerte Matthaeus Merian 1625 és 1630 között megjelent Icones Bilicae című sorozatát, azaz az Ó- és az Újszövetség történeteihez készült rézmetszeteit.  A haggada illusztrációinak elkészítéséhez Abraham ben Jacob Merian képeit használta úgy, hogy a keresztény szimbólumokat elhagyta, esetleg kisebb-nagyobb módosításokkal igazította hozzá a képeket az új tartalomhoz. &#13;
Széderjelenete az utolsó vacsora jelentét használja. &#13;
A képek elterjedtségét jelzi, hogy nem csak nyomtatott könyvekben, hanem fém- és kerámia tárgyakon is találkozhatunk velük. &#13;
A 18. századi óntálon a jelenetet a képhez illő, Mózes második könyvéből vett idézet keretezi:&#13;
