Description An account of the resource A lengyel eredetű tóraszekrény–függöny díszét a keret mind a négy oldalán megjelenő felirat jelenti. A betűk ezüstlemezből kivágott, a szárakon kis csomókkal díszített betűk, az a típus, amelyet a hímzett kézimunkáknál alkalmaztak ebben az időszakban. A szöveg a tóraszekrény–függöny ajándékozóit és az alkalmat rögzíti: Jákob fia Izsák Taubes, és neje Bella Jakab fiúk születése alkalmából ajándékozták a közösségnek 1830–ban. A gyermek születése mellett a házaspár megemlékezik Bella szüleiről is: Emlékezzen az Örökkévaló Menkes Jakabra és nejére, Jettire, akiknek lelki üdvéért ajándékozta vejük és leányuk. Érdekessége a tárgynak, hogy két olyan rövidítés látható rajta, amely máshol teljesen általános és megszokott, de tóraszekrény függönyökön nem. Egyik az újszülött fiú nevét követően a tórapólyák szövege: „az Örökkévaló növelje fel a Tórához, a huppához és a jó tettek végrehajtásához, amen, szela”, másik pedig az elhunytak nevét a sírköveken követő rövidítés: „legyen lelke bekötve az örök élet kötelébe”.
