A domborított szívvel és fekvő oroszlán alakjával díszített ezüsttáblákba kötött Bibliát Löw Lipótnak ajándékozták hívei, amikor 1850-ben megvált a pápai közösségtől.
A kötéstábla egyik oldalán domborított szíven héber betűs német/jiddis felirat van: „Cum andenken von zammlikhen mitgliedern der sohre tov cu Pápa 1850.” (Emlékül a jót kedvelők valamennyi tagjától, Pápa, 1850.) A másik oldalán fekvő oroszlán alakja látszik. Az oroszlán alakja a zsidó ikonográfia jellemző gyakorlatának megfelelően a tulajdonos (Löw) nevére utal.
A kötéstábla héber és latin betűs könyvek bekötéséhez is használható. Latin betűs könyveknél a címlapon a feliratos szív látszik, míg a héber betűs könyvek olvasási irányának megfelelően ekkor az oroszlán–motívum van a címoldalon.

A kötéstáblát Löw Bécsben élő örökösei 1935-ben a Zsidó Múzeumnak ajándékozták, azonban a nemesfém tárgy Bécsből Budapestre juttatása rendkívüli nehézségekbe ütközött. Végül a múzeum egyik vezetője, Naményi Ernő Bécsben élő volt anyósán keresztül, magánúton juttatták a gyűjteménynek. A Zsidó Múzeum 1942-ben emlékkiállítással emlékezett meg Löw Lipót munkásságáról.
