A pergamen lapon a Krónikák első könyvének 7–39 versei, valamint mikrografikus ábrázolás részlete látható. Az illusztráción Éva almát nyújt Ádám felé, akinek csak egyik keze és egyik lába látható. Kettejük alakja között fa, melyre kígyó tekeredik. A bibliai szöveg első hasábja, valamint a kép széle hiányzik. A pergamenlap mind a négy sarka sarkosan le van vágva, a lap szélein pedig behajtás nyoma látszik, ami arra utal, hogy a pergamenlapot kötéstáblaként használták fel. A Grünvald Fülöp véleménye szerint talán az 1686–ban, Buda törökök alóli felszabadításakor felgyújtott zsidónegyed könyvei közül lehetett egynek töredéke, Scheiber Sándor véleménye szerint akár Mátyás király corvina–könyvtárából is származhatott.<br /><br /><em>The beginning of the Book of Chronicles is an illustration made up of micrographic Hebrew letters: Eve holding palm leaves in front of her with one hand and passing an apple to Adam with the other. In the center is a tree with the serpent coiled on it. Probably, the codex had an illustration in front of every book of the Bible. From the way it is creased, it becomes obvious that it had been used for a cover of a book. The title on the spine is very faded and cannot be discerned.
